Okuma AV-3000 Avenger New Generation Spinning Reel

The key new feature of the Okuma Avenger series is the addition of the CFR technology. The CFR, or Cyclonic Flow Rotor creates a airflow which significantly increases air flow through the rotor creating a faster drying time if the reel should become wet, minimizing corrosion possibilities throughout the reel. The Avenger spinning reels feature 7 total ball bearings for the ultimate in smoothness and feature up to 22 lbs of drag pressure out of the multi-disc, Japanese oiled felt drag system.

Okuma's bait feeding system allows anglers to disengage their spinning reel spool and allow their bait to run freely. The bait feeding system incorporates a secondary micro-adjustable drag system at the rear of the reel that allows for precise adjustment of the spool for bait control. In order to disengage this system simply turn the handle. The ON/OFF lever on the rear of the reel will automatically disengage the bait feeding system so you can fight your fish with the main drag system.
